Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale took to Instagram on Friday night to announce the birth of his son – hours before his side are due to face off against Burnley.
The goalkeeper, 25, posted a photo of himself holding baby Ronnie and grinning widely, with wife Georgina smiling and placing a hand on Ronnie’s back.
Following that was a sweet photo of his hands cradling his wife Georgia’s hands which were holding baby Ronnie’s feet.

Aaron and Georgina announced their engagement in August 2022 and Georgina sadly suffered a miscarriage that same year.
The two married in June this year – the same month they announced that they were expecting baby Ronnie.

Aaron captioned the post: ‘So about the last few weeks! My beautiful baby boy was born.
Aaron’s team Arsenal, who are fourth in the Premier League, will play 19th-place Burnley at 3 pm on Saturday.

Aaron got down on one knee to propose to Georgina in August 2022, with a romantic hotel getaway forming the perfect backdrop.
Pictures shared by the former Sheffield United and Bournemouth man showed his partner entering a room filled with flowers, balloons and pictures of the couple.
Ramsdale had also arranged the words ‘Marry me?’ in large letters across the room.
He began dating Georgina, a British Airways flight attendant, back in 2019.
